Ken Seiff is Managing Director of Beanstalk Ventures, a NY-based venture fund focused on revolutionizing the retail industry through its investments in innovative technology companies.

The fund is relatively unique in its approach to investing. While it is almost always the first investor in its portfolio companies, the members of the team invest considerable time into each business, preferring to act more like co-founders than investors.

Ken oversees the funds’ investments and helps the portfolio companies grow rapidly. Prior to this, Ken founded Bluefly, co-founded Poppin, co-founded Simply Gum and served as the EVP of Omni-Channel at Brooks Brothers.

Beanstalk was founded as a partnership between Ken Seiff and Novel TMT, the global technology investment vehicle of Silas Chou and his family. The fund is privileged to have Mike Newman, former CFO, COO and Vice Chairman of Ralph Lauren on the team. Portfolio companies include Inturn, Brickwork, PredictSpring, Reachify and Knox Payments.
