Kyle Nel

Kyle Nel is the founder and Executive Director of Lowe’s Innovation Labs, part of Lowe’s Companies, Inc., leading a team responsible for driving the company’s innovation vision, strategy and growth. His longstanding passion for changing human behavior led him to create a methodology, network and global team that is propelling the company in new directions while promoting learning, excitement and possibility for tomorrow. 
Under his leadership, Lowe’s Innovation Labs has introduced projects including the Lowe’s Holoroom augmented and virtual reality design experience, the OSHbot autonomous retail service robot, and 3D scanning and printing services at retail. He has cultivated a network of uncommon partnerships such as that with Made in Space to send the first commercial 3D printer to the International Space Station, and launched a disruptive technology startup accelerator and incubator in Bangalore, India.
Kyle is a member of the XPRIZE Foundation Innovation Board and was recognized on the 2015 Advertising Age “40 under 40” list. He previously held positions in market research with Lowe’s and the Walmart Global Insights Group. He holds an MBA from the AC Nielsen Center for Marketing Research at the University of Wisconsin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Prior to joining PIRCH, Laith was Vice President, Marketing at Yahoo, Inc. where he was focused on growth strategies, as well as customer acquisition and retention. Laith began his professional career at Neiman Marcus as an assistant buyer, then moved into marketing, where he managed the InCircle loyalty program focusing on partnerships, financial plans, and growth strategies. He spent 9 years at Brierley + Partners, as an SVP of Strategy leading and supporting loyalty and CRM initiatives for many marquee brands, including Bloomingdale’s, American Eagle Outfitters, Nike, Hertz, Hilton, Men’s Wearhouse, JCPenney, and more. Laith is a member of the Board of Directors at the Direct Marketing Association.
 
Mr. Murad earned an M.B.A with a concentration on Consumer Behavior and Strategy from Southern Methodist University and a B.B.A. from University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he was also a member of the varsity soccer team.

Bill Sleeth is vp design of Global Innovation for Starbucks Coffee Company. In this role, Bill leads the design and development of new concepts for Starbucks and its associated brands.

As a key member of Starbucks design and innovation leadership team, Bill is responsible for creating immersive customer experiences that drive deeper engagement with the Starbucks brand. Bill also leads the teams responsible for the design of Teavana, La Boulange, Evolution Fresh stores as well as unique high profile Starbucks locations.
 
Bill received his bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Oregon. His early design experience includes working at architecture firms as well as freelance design-build projects. During his freelance years he won an Emmy for writing while he was the Production Designer on Seattle’s "Disney Presents Bill Nye the Science Guy." Also during this time, Bill spent a year as a member of the Starbucks design team in 1996.
 
Bill is a successful general manager who founded Vizwerks in Portland, Oregon, an award winning creative agency specializing in retail design, branding, merchandising and graphic design. Clients included Nike, Adidas, Columbia Sportswear, Lucy, Mark Ecko Productions, Il Fornaio and Omaha Steaks. Bill has also worked in design, construction and marketing with Potbelly Sandwich Works.

David had also been the principle architect behind the development of a system that has the ability to learn the natural routes of the individual and create profiles based on a number of factors and combine all available information to predict with high confidence the driver is most likely traveling and look ahead to provides insight and assistive information when contextually relevant. 
David is currently a Director within the Innovation Lab at FordDirect focusing on the impacts that the connected car will have on the customer expectation of both the OEM and its dealer body and working to identify opportunities that will enhance or improve the relationship both the Brand and the Dealership.

Prior to that, she was director of marketing for StorePerform, and director of product marketing for Viewlocity, a supply chain software provider focusing on adaptive supply chain execution and exception management. Nikki spent several years at PwC Consulting, where as a senior manager she led IT strategy consulting engagements for retail and CPG clients.
